I Carried a National Assembly member who cannot speak nor understand English

Lamentation as Uber driver cries out doom on Nigeria as he carried a rider who works in the National Assembly, holding a relevant position but does not speak nor understand English. 

The Uber driver (name withheld) said: I couldn't believe my eyes knowing that this young man works in the National Assembly without good command of English. 

I carried him from O'Neal Center Jabi into the National Assembly. I tried engaging a discussion with him and all I could get was Baah English. 

Facts being that I could understand Hausa a bit, I noticed that this young man (name withheld) has been serving in the National Assembly for 4years. Is this not a set back in the growth of the national. Should the government have the country at heart, why not give opportunity to even the Hausa who can understand and speak good English to represent us. According to him, it is because of the money centeredness that is making Uber/Bolt maltreat drivers for their selfish interest. 

Now we tend to ask, where are we heading to, growth, success or damnation. We are our leaders selling us to the mood. The level of religious farvouritism in Nigeria has gotten to its peek and cannot be amended again. How could an illiterate work in the National Assembly. Moreover, the National Assembly as at now, it filled with illiterates who don't know their whereabout starting from the presidency. Kaduna State Speaker tends to be the worst among all as many evidences shows that he cannot speak good English and has not been able to improve. Our Government alone is only improving in terms of looting and stealing. We hope no more for a better Nigeria but for a divided Nigeria.
